We all love a good free product. We’ve also seen some of the extravagant PR packages that the big bloggers, vloggers and ‘grammars get sent. Although they may be out of reach for most, it doesn’t mean that you can’t get beauty freebies sent right to your door. You’ve just got to know where to look! I’ve done some of the leg-work for you and here are my 5 favourite ways to be sent free beauty products.
Influenster is a product testing network. They send you products, in return for a review on your social media platforms. You do have to connect your social channels, as followers do help you qualify campaigns, but you can also qualify by using the site and submitting other product reviews.
So far I’ve received a box of goodies from Rimmel and Marc Jacobs.
Bzzagent is similar to Influenster, but instead of using your social following to rate your suitability for campaigns, they use surveys. The surveys can take a while to complete when you first start, but are easy and quick if you are checking in regularly (I usually log in to do my surveys once a fortnight). For different Bzzagent campaigns you have to do different things, they are usually to right a review on their site, but sometimes you can gain bonus points by posting on social media without it being mandatory.
From Bzzagent I’ve received products from Rimmel, L’oreal and Nivea.
Love Me Beauty
Love Me Beauty is one of the lesser know review for free product platforms. They don’t have a direct sign up on their website yet, so use this link to sign up. You don’t have to post anywhere to take part in their campaigns, but you do have to a survey directly on their website a few weeks after you’ve had your delivery.
I do work with Love Me Beauty, so I have taken part in almost all of their campaigns. So far I’ve received products from Vita Liberata, Biore, Caudalie, Mr Blanc, Malin + Goetz, Charles Worthington and Sanctuary Spa.
Love Me Beauty also have a super affordable make up line called Phase Zero Make Up. If you want to try any of these products (I’d fully recommend the lip toppers!), you can use my affiliate code ‘LAURAD50’ for £5 off your first purchase.
Glamour Beauty Club
You don’t tend to get full size products with Glamour Beauty Club, but you do get very generous minis and sample sizes. In return, you do a short survey after you’ve tried the product.
I’ve tried minis and samples from Laura Mercier and Burt’s Bees. I’ve also been sent a Wilkinson’s Sword razor and a full size Garnier hair mask.
Follow the Freebie Accounts
Often brands will do online campaigns of their own to send out free samples. Sometimes it’s hard to find them yourself, so I’d recommend following some Instagram ‘freebie hunter’ accounts that do all the detective work for you. My favourites are @freebeewitch and @latestfreestuff, I have post notifications for these pages turn on, as sometimes the samples can run out really quickly when they are a popular brand.
These pages have helped my secure samples from Estee Lauder, Glam Glow, Elemis, Philosophy, Viktor and Rolf, John Frieda, Origins, Caudalie, Fresh and Givenchy
So I hope this helps get you some free beauty products for you to try and test yourself!
